An unusual prisoner forces a psychologist to confront the ghosts of the past.
The near future. Old and dirty prisons, overcrowded with dangerous criminals, are a thing of the past. Now, those sentenced to imprisonment are put into a state close to a coma. This allows saving budget funds and avoiding dangerous situations.
However, the system has one drawback – when coming out of such hypersleep, a person partially loses cognitive abilities and can even go crazy. The duties of the prison psychologist – David Damiani – include the task of periodically bringing prisoners out of the state of hibernation, forcing them to remember who they are, how they got to prison, how long they have been behind bars. But one day, Damiani will encounter a person he cannot control. This will force him to look back at his own past.
